This is the age of the internet, with proof provided by that new tech-phrase “the Internet of Things”. But does this nebulous phrase actually mean? It means full and complete internet connectivity, including not only AV, lighting, HVAC and alarm, but also appliances such as refrigerators and microwaves. That hub is your network, and usually consists of a single device known as a router.
